Recently, several online comments on the Korean portal site 'Naver', have gone really bad. Many comments are really rude, and people are supporting the nasty comment made by one politician. She stated, 'Did victims die while saving the country?'. Needless to say, families of Itaewon crush victims are demanding her to step down, but online comments on the Korean portal site 'Naver' are mostly supporting that politician while disrespecting families of crush victims.
Some comments are: 'what she said is correct. There's no need to resign.' , 'Stop using our taxes for this. Your kids died while playing around, and you dare to blame the country for it?' , 'Stop harassing the government! You should have taken care of your kids before this happened!', 'You should have stopped your kids from going there.'
I can't believe some people are blaming the victims and their families. They lost their beloved kids, and they have a right to ask for compensation and an apology. Things are going from bad to worse these days...
