how lovely so many people being influenced by media. honestly not a problem that pork and alcohol is banned, South Korea didnt have a problem with it so dont listen to anything a non-south korean is saying. anyways respecting other cultures and religion are important and Qatar was the host so therefore they had the right to choose what they accept or not accept besides Qatar did spend a lot of money so yea.

Some comments are saying that Muslims find halal food overseas, so Koreans should respect Islam in Qatar. I really don't understand that logic.
If other countries make exceptions fornyour diet, why can't you do the same for people who visit your country? Your Islamic laws govern Muslim and Islam. Why extend that law to Koreans that are not Muslim? After all, the countries bring their own produce and chefs, so i see no religous trauma involved for Qataris. This rule seems unnecessarily restrictive.

This is such a culturally ignorant assumption. Just because Koreans love pork in their country does not mean that is the only thing they like. I am sure they want to be in tip top shape anyways while playing so would likely reduce their pork intake even if they were not in Qatar. Korean food consists of beef, Chicken and fish too so I am sure they have plenty of variety of foods that are being prepared.

I dont get what this news video is for. All it represent is Korea cant embrace other country’s food, culture and law.
It is country's laws and constitution not merely the laws of a religion.that's why for Qatar definition of freedom is different than European 's definition of freedom.we just need to understand them.i think it is a positive side that is shown in this video,the Korean cook tries to find a solution rather speaking something hateful about Qatar's laws .
They still can bring and eat meat, though. Just like Argentina and Uruguay
