You'll see that when a 2nd elemental debuff is applied a 3rd debuff automatically shows up which looks like a ying & yang symbol. That icon is Discord. It occurs from applying any 2 of the 5 main elements (fire, water, wind, lightning, earth). Applying a third elemental while Discord is active will refresh the debuff as well. (i.e. you applied discord with fire & water, adding a lighting debuff will refresh Discord). In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai. Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy. Offering a deep and original storyline that takes place during the Warring States Period of Japanese history alongside strategic sword-fighting action, Nioh will challenge players in a way that makes every mission and accomplishment feel earned and worthwhile. Hello! This game is once again Nioh! Really though, the last run through this soulslike was was a lot of fun, so I wanted to give it another go. I decided on a slightly more complicated run this time, using onmyo magic to the best of my abilities. Once again, the start of the challenge was a really rough experience, but the status effects available made life a lot easier. Between confused and the sloth talisman, magic is indeed pretty good. It just takes a really long time to be able to get to that point... I'm not sure when/if I'll be taking on the DLC at any point. Might be worth a shot, but I reckon it'd take a lot of prep for either run. Or who knows? Maybe fist only is in the future. Hard to say. Regardless, I hope you enjoy a magical journey. Lenny™ shot his way into impostor Lennys secret Cuban hideout resulting in a fight which roughly lasted 12 seconds after the Lenny™ said you know i actually thought getting over it wasnt that bad why does everyone hate it so much? Impostor Lenny and the Lenny™ teamed up to finish the Nioh Experience which only took 2 hours to complete. The Nioh Experience crashed all expectations at the box office winning 6 Grammys, 2 Golden Globes, and 1 Spice of the Year award. Welcome to Nioh. I decided to take another dive into the genre that is soulslikes, and... I love the genre so much more than it loves me. With the multitude of different builds, abilities, and stats to deal with... I went with pure simplicity. Ninjutsu. Primarily just sharp throwing implements. Honestly, the start is rough, and survivability was a perpetual issue, but the abilities from the Ninja tree are great. This was my first playthrough, so I can't say how good or bad the rest of the available options were, but it was genuinely pretty fun. Except while navigating... But of course, there's Nioh way that I'd get easily lost... That's about all I've got. I'm not good with other languages. I don't know how to speak them, so I've only got what's spir-written. Oh yeah, it's all coming together. In this nioh 2 review we discuss how this fantastic entry to what many may falsely call the "souls-like" genre, but is actually called the Gaiden-like genre. See as it is the superior product that predates even the earliest souls game Demon Souls that came out long before Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Elden Ring. Obviously I've profressed much love over the last year for many easier games, but this video is to show that I'm still a real gamer. I still like a little challenge. And Nioh 2 has that perfect balance of complete enemy cheese to reverse Vietnam GI tactic cheese that is only struck by some of the best games of the last decade. I haven't tried Wo Long yet, but here's hoping it can rise to even a fraction of Nioh 2's power. With that being said, ENJOY this nioh 2 retrospective! I hope some of it made sense. It’s impossible that you haven’t heard of Team Ninja’s Nioh. The Dark Souls meets Onimusha meets Bloodborne meets Diablo hack and slash adventure has been making waves in the gaming world. After garnering strong critical praise, sales have been going extremely well with the game debuting second in the UK as per Gfk Chart-Track. Nioh is a great game but if you love it and have been spending several hours with it, you’ve no doubt discovered a few things to nitpick about. I have to say, despite my previous experience, this time I enjoyed myself far more than before. Nioh has excellent combat, solid level design, interesting RPG mechanics, diverse weapons, and a roster of bosses that varies greatly in terms of both quality and difficulty.
