After the Fukushima incident, we might say nuclear power is about to disappear from the World. Many countries like Germany have closed their nuclear reactors. Nonetheless, Asia is renovating is bet on nuclear power and, more precisely, China is leading a nuclear revolution. The economic growth means a huge growth on the power consumption and this means they need more and more energy sources, other than the traditional coal. But… they are going way beyond installing reactors… they are also building their own models. How? In this video, you will learn it. *Script written by Javier Angulo Check our China playlist: 🤍 Interesting links 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 Support us on Patreon! 🤍patreon.com/visualpolitik And don't forget to visit our friend’s podcast, Reconsider Media: 🤍

Therefore, when China announced that it had overcome these technical difficulties, it instantly aroused heated discussions in the global nuclear energy community. Charles, a nuclear expert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said: "China's reactors will provide the world with a test platform for extensive research." Bangor, a British Ph.D. in materials science, was even more excited. He said, "If China allows me to participate in the test, I will fly there immediately." The responses of these top global experts also proved that China is a world leader in thorium nuclear reactor technology. So here comes the question: Why was the thorium-based reactor technology first realized by China? Can thorium nuclear reactors really bear the title of future energy? Today, we want to talk to you guys about thorium-based reactor technology. OK, let’s get started!
On July 13, 2021, Linglong One started construction at the Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant in Hainan, China. This is the first multi-purpose modular small reactor technology demonstration project in the world. The construction of this kind of onshore commercial modular small reactor, most countries in the world are still stop at paper design, but China has already implemented it in a down-to-earth manner. In short, Linglong One is not only a milestone in China's nuclear power industry, but also a leader in changing the world's nuclear energy pattern. So, what is Linglong One? Do you know it? Why can it change the pattern of nuclear energy in the world? OK, let’s talk about them in today’s video.
Overtime, the Communist Party of China, in association with the People's Liberation Army, have developed an extensive range of Nuclear and Fusion based weapons since the first successful test of a Chinese made Weapon of Mass Destruction in 1964. It is estimated today that the PLA posses over 200 of these weapons along with a large arsenal of land-based intercontinental and medium range ballistic missiles. "As the War Approaches", "当那天来临", is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Song performed by their military choir about the Korean War. It describes the nearing of hostile foreign forces through Korea to the Chinese border and acknowledges it as an act of war against the Chinese People. The footage used has been taken from a 1966 PLA documentary concerning the development of nuclear weapons within China and the Documentary Film "50th National Day Parade". (English Subtitles)

In 2022, China's "Hualong One" nuclear power unit passed the British GDA certification and reached a cooperation with Argentina, which marks the beginning of China's independent nuclear power technology to the world. Are nuclear power plants safe? Why are Western countries dismantling nuclear power plants, but China is vigorously expanding? Today, we are going to talk about the mystery of the rise of nuclear power plants and "Hualong One". Why does China build nuclear power plants? Well, a million-kilowatt nuclear power plant needs only 30 tons of nuclear fuel per year, while a thermal power plant of the same size needs to consume more than 3 million tons of coal, a full 100,000-fold difference. For a populous country like China, nuclear energy is definitely one of the most worthy forms of energy to develop. Therefore, although some Western countries are currently opposed to nuclear power, China has not blindly followed suit, but will continue to develop nuclear industrial technologies such as "Hualong One".
Al Jazeera takes a look at the state of nuclear weapons in the world and the push for non-proliferation this month. China's arsenal is a closely guarded state secret, so it's not exactly known how powerful their weapons are. There are no official figures regarding China's nuclear arsenal. But a recent US government report estimated that China probably has around 300 nuclear warheads and no more than a hundred Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles to deliver them. Experts say that China has the World's fourth largest nuclear arsenal. An overview of the main events in China's nuclear industry in 2021. In 2021, the construction of 7 new units, both Chinese and Russian, starts in China. 3 units were also connected to the grid, including the unique HTR-PM gas-cooled unit at Shidao Bay. This video is an overview of major developments in China's nuclear industry in 2021. China is the world leader in the construction of nuclear power plants at home. Now China has practically caught up with France in terms of the number of nuclear power plant units, and in terms of the amount of electricity generated at nuclear power plants, it has already overtaken and ranked second in the world after the United States. In total, there are more than 20 nuclear power plants in China, some of which have up to 8 nuclear power units. In total, they have 54 nuclear power units, and it is quite possible that by the end of 2022 they will overtake France in terms of their number. China has one of the youngest nuclear parks. The average age of the blocks is less than 9 years. Therefore, China did not close nuclear power plants by age last year, and there will not be for a long time. But the new construction is going very rapidly. Every fourth nuclear unit under construction in the world is built in China. Let's look at what was built in 2021. In total, three units were connected during the year. In May and June, Unit 5 of Hongyanhe NPP and Unit 6 of Tianwan NPP were connected to the grid. These are gigawatt units with Chinese-made pressurized water reactors, developed on the basis of second-generation French reactors and improved many times over. China and France have a long-standing cooperation in the nuclear field, which continues to this day. The French even built their most modern EPR-1600 reactor in China earlier than in Europe. On December 20, the first power unit of the Shidao Bay NPP was connected to the grid. And this is a unique power unit, which operates two reactors and one turbine at once. These are HTR-PM gas-cooled reactors, or in another classification - HTGR - high-temperature gas-cooled reactors. In principle, there are gas-cooled reactors in the world, but old ones, such as they were closed in the UK last year. Helium acts as a coolant for Chinese HTGR. The fuel used is not traditional fuel assemblies with cylindrical fuel elements, but fuel in the form of balls - spherical fuel elements 6 cm in diameter made of graphite with inclusions of ceramic uranium fuel. I remember as students we studied projects of such German reactors, and they were called reactors with spherical fuel rods. These reactors are small in power, only 250 MW of heat. Each has one steam generator and a common turbine for two 200 MW reactors. This is an experimental block. Prior to this, a small 10 MW HTGR had been operating in China for a long time. In the future, it is planned to build a commercial unit with a capacity of 650 MW with six reactors. In general, China has big plans for these high-temperature reactors. The main advantage of such reactors is the high temperature of the coolant, about 750 degrees Celsius. This is twice as high as in pressurized water reactors and even higher than in fast reactors with liquid metal coolants. The high temperature makes it possible to obtain a higher efficiency of the power unit, about 44%, and most importantly, it allows the unit to be used as a source of heat and high temperature not only for generating electricity, but also for various industrial processes, urban heating, desalination or hydrogen production, which is especially relevant in the light of the energy transition. Many media erroneously reported that China launched the world's first small modular nuclear power plant. On the one hand, this is not so, because the first small nuclear power plant, which has been operating for two years already, is the floating nuclear power plant Akademik Lomonosov in Russia. But where China really leads is in the development of a new type of gas-cooled modular reactors, which, by the way, can be attributed to generation IV. Also in 2021, China began construction of three new power units with Hualong One reactors at once, translated as “Chinese Dragon”. This is a Chinese 1000 MW 3rd generation pressurized water reactor project in China. Based on it, China plans to develop its own nuclear power industry and export it. To promote this Dragon, it was even merged as a common project for two Chinese nuclear corporations - CGN and CNNC. Yes, China has not one, but two of its own Rosatom. Their Dragon designs are slightly different, including in terms of power, but for promotion abroad, they are still combined into one brand. ... Subscribe to the channel, there is still a lot of interesting nuclear news ahead.
Nuclear Power Plant is a thermal power plant that uses one or several nuclear reactors as its heat source. The working principle of a nuclear reactor is almost the same as a Steam Power Plant, using high pressure steam to turn the turbine. It is this turbine rotation that is converted into electrical energy. The difference is the heat source used to produce heat. A nuclear power plant uses Uranium as its heat source. 1. If you, like me, share an interest in nuclear energy, then you will surely like my other hobby - I like to find and view various nuclear objects on satellite images. But I am primarily interested in nuclear power plants, of course. Therefore, I decided to make the first video with such a view from the space of a large nuclear power plant. For example, I took one of the largest nuclear power plants in the world - the Chinese nuclear power plant Fuqing. To be precise, this is number six on the list of the largest nuclear power plants in the world and number three in China itself. There are six units with a total capacity of 6150 MW. This is more than any nuclear power plant in the US or Europe. Even the largest nuclear power plant in Europe - the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is now captured by Russia, is a little smaller. Yes, I have a separate video about the Zaporizhzhia NPP and nuclear risks associated with its capture by Russian troops, you can watch it at the link, it is now on the screen. But the Fuqing nuclear power plant is remarkable not only for its size. It is interesting that at the end of 2021, the first Chinese reactor of the 3rd generation of its own design, the Hualong One power unit, was put into operation on it. Of course, it is based on the French designs of previous generations that were built in China. But China builds a lot and learns fast. Let me remind you that now China has the second largest nuclear fleet in the world, second only to the American one, almost all of which was built over the past 20 years. So, of course, the Chinese modern water-cooled reactor project was a matter of time. + My Russian channel - 🤍dmitrygorchakovvlog Me on Twitter - 🤍 + Support channel on Patreon - 🤍 +

How Chinese Dominate Nuclear Reactor Production? Building the largest nuclear power plant in China China is one of the world's largest producers of nuclear power. The country ranks third in the world both in total nuclear power capacity installed and electricity generated, accounting for around one tenth of global nuclear power generated. Nuclear power contributed 4.9% of the total Chinese electricity production in 2019, with 348.1 TWh. As of September 2022, China operates a total of 53 nuclear reactors, with a total capacity of 55.6 gigawatt (GW). This was short of the previous target of 58GW of installed capacity by 2020. More than 20 reactors are under construction with a total capacity of 24.2 GW. #artificialsun #china #artificialintelligence Read the full article here: 🤍 The EAST (Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak) nuclear fusion reactor maintained a temperature of 158 million degrees Fahrenheit (70 million degrees Celsius) for 1,056 seconds, according to the Xinhua News Agency. The achievement brings scientists a small yet significant step closer to the creation of a source of near-unlimited clean energy. The Chinese experimental nuclear fusion reactor smashed the previous record, set by France's Tore Supra tokamak in 2003, where plasma in a coiling loop remained at similar temperatures for 390 seconds. EAST had previously set another record in May 2021 by running for 101 seconds at an unprecedented 216 million F (120 million C). The core of the actual sun, by contrast, reaches temperatures of around 27 million F (15 million C). Scientists have been trying to harness the power of nuclear fusion — the process by which stars burn — for more than 70 years. By fusing hydrogen atoms to make helium under extremely high pressures and temperatures, so-called main-sequence stars are able to convert matter into light and heat, generating enormous amounts of energy without producing greenhouse gases or long-lasting radioactive waste. But replicating the conditions found inside the hearts of stars is no simple task. The most common design for fusion reactors, the tokamak, works by superheating plasma (one of the four states of matter, consisting of positive ions and negatively-charged free electrons) before trapping it inside a donut-shaped reactor chamber with powerful magnetic fields. Keeping the turbulent and superheated coils of plasma in place long enough for nuclear fusion to happen, however, has been a painstaking process. Soviet scientist Natan Yavlinsky designed the first tokamak in 1958, but no one has ever managed to create an experimental reactor that is able to put out more energy than it takes in. One of the main stumbling blocks has been how to handle a plasma that's hot enough to fuse. Fusion reactors require very high temperatures — many times hotter than the sun — because they have to operate at much lower pressures than where fusion naturally takes place inside the cores of stars. Cooking plasma to temperatures hotter than the sun is the relatively easy part, but finding a way to corral it so that it doesn’t burn through the reactor walls (either with lasers or magnetic fields) without also ruining the fusion process is technically tricky. nuclear fusion | nuclear fusion and fission | nuclear fusion reactor | nuclear fusion in hindi | nuclear fusion in sun | nuclear fusion reaction | nuclear fusion animation | nuclear fusion reaction by khan sir | nuclear fusion in tamil | nuclear fusion reactor working | nuclear fusion reactor at home | nuclear fusion animation | nuclear fusion reactor video | nuclear fusion reactor test | nuclear fusion reactor documentary | artificial sun | artificial sun made china | artificial sun made by china real video | artificial sun made by china in hindi | artificial sun made by china in tamil | artificial sun made by china in telugu | artificial sun made by china by ankit awasthi | artificial sun made by china Malayalam | artificial sun made by china by khan sir | artificial sun tamil | artificial sun real video | artificial intelligence | artificial intelligence and data science engineering | artificial intelligence and machine learning | artificial intelligence in hindi | artificial intelligence in tamil | artificial intelligence in telugu | artificial intelligence robot | robotics | robotics engineering | robotics kanti | Robotics project | robotics research | robotics movie | robotics and automation engineering | robotics research lab | robotics research projects | robotics research idea | robotics research engineer | robotics research labs in India | robotics research India
