Dagger Mirage WvW/PvP. Dagger doesn't do too much on a mesmer without the Virtuoso traits, however as a Mirage you gain access to a new ambush skill which dazes and applies conditions. When combined with Infinite Horizon and many interrupt traits, this can output heavy pressure that condition mirages did not have as much access to before. Mirage brings a lot of tools enabling fast solo routes through Twisted Castle with its access to a frequently usable leap as well as blink and portal. Running a celestial condition build, it has good survivability and self buffing capabilities as well as decent damage, with the downside of a rather long ramp up time. This is a fully revised run based on my old one: 🤍 I have made a number of changes to my run that are outlined below. For more information regarding the original run, refer to the description of the video linked above. Special thanks to Jan (who also made the thumbnail) and all the other guildies that helped me improve my solo with their suggestions. Route: In the beginning, I skip the unnecessary jumping part and instead go through the portal close to the druid skip button. After pressing the next two buttons, I ignore the mobs there and instead use a mesmer portal to get back to the pack of mobs guarding the other portal that also allows reaching the end. This has two main advantages: The fight is less annoying and I save both time and health by not having to wait for my weapon swap while standing on the damaging platform. As I want to keep mimic for blinks, my strategy is gated by the mesmer portal cooldown. Because of this, I don't rush the fight and instead try to stack up as much alacrity as possible. Build (shown at the end): I dropped Inspiration for Illusions, enabling me to use distort early in the fight without having to cut it from the initial running part. Distort reduces pressure during the fight and allows stacking up more alacrity because of the spawned mirrors. The loss in sustain from missing Inspiration is partially offset by replacing the 40% endurance regeneration food by a 30% endurance regeneration food with passive health regeneration, which actually doesn't even result in losing sword ambushes during the running parts. Jaunt replacing mass invisibility as elite skill provides some cleanses and additional mobility. It really shines in combination with Zephyrite runes, which make Jaunt into a very strong source of superspeed due to it having up to three charges saved up. Mirror in the heal skill slot is yet another source of superspeed with a rather short cooldown. As the runes also increase the duration of superspeed from all sources, I have permanent superspeed during the running parts. With my new route, the celerity sigil ended up being useless since its quickness already had run out by the time I started fighting, so I swapped to renewal for a tiny bit of extra sustain at the end.

It's been 4 years since my original staff mirage video and it's even stronger today! The great part about this build is that most of your damage, defense, and support come from simply spamming dodge and auto-attack. It doesn't get any easier! If you don't wish to bother with difficult to acquire runes and stats, don't worry! I tested the build using Dire exotic gear and some random cheap runes and sigils and was still able to take down Balthazar here without breaking a sweat (my time was 75 seconds vs. 59 seconds with the build shown in this clip). nefras in shambles Music: 🤍 I stream once in a millennia on 🤍 Edited Description: Dagger seems to be pretty good for duels and in a small space to fight, It seems to be just straight up worse than greatsword in general roaming due to the nature of the weapon being a lot less aggressive than greatsword. Dagger 2 spawns the clone on player location instead of target location is the main offender for that Build: Domination 223 Dueling 131 Mirage 121 I was almost full assassins here with surging runes, i believe i was firework relic, isgarren relic would probably have been better Energy Cleansing Sigils on sword / torch I was Energy Cleansing on Dagger / Shield as well, but instead of cleansing sigil, a severance sigil would have been better
