Time for the commando, I really love the perk. The weapons he has are all quite nice. Sadly the ones that are crossperk are the better ones. Rarely you'll see a commando with onperk weapons. This is the second video in the Killing Floor 2 Guide. Today we are going to be looking at the Commando. We will be looking at some of the more popular commando builds as well as some of the loadouts. Learn what is the most popular type of commando at the higher levels like hell on earth, what loadouts are good for you to take at what time, and what the stats of all the commando weapons are. We will first be looking at the commando's starting equipment and weapons that you can buy. All of there stats will be revealed, and you can judge for yourself which weapon is the most appealing one for you. Everything from the starting AR-15 all the way up to the Scar, and the Stoner LMG. We will then look at the most common builds. Find out which one suit you the best and which one will show off your skills. After talking about the different builds that you can go with we will be taking a look at the different commando weapon loadouts for each build or situation. #shorts #killingfloor2 #montage #compilation #gunslinger #youtubegaming = A majority of these combos take advantage of the Rhinos projectiles when shot. 3 projectiles ricochet depending on the direction you fire. If all manage to hit including the first shot, your DPS can shred large zeds making for some interesting anti-gunslinger takedowns. The Scrake vs the Rhinos are quite a strong option but only when using Bone Breaker which can handicap you as a Gunslinger and your large zed takedown capabilities. Despite that, there not all that bad and are pretty fun to use in the right environment or situation. *Map Description:* "HTC" Hyperbolic Test Chamber created by *HazardousMonkey* HTC is by far the best testing map for Killing Floor 2 period. Featuring many great elements for testing on large zeds complete with a shooting range and aim trainer. It's one of a kind and I endorse it respectively. *Map Link:* 🤍 *Gunslinger Skills: Rack em' up* I used Rack em up on the first takedown since it's the only practical set up if you were to use the Rhinos with Gunslingers meta. *Steady* [Saves an extra bullet and is great for damage with projectiles but isn't necessary] *Speedloader* [Faster reloads for takedowns and trash] *Rack em' up* [It's most practical for the first takedown in the video] *Skullcracker* [Gives you more prep for the takedown] *Gunslinger Skills: Bone Breaker* All the other takedowns I used Bone Breaker for DPS. *Steady* [Strongly recommended in case Rhino projectiles miss during a takedown] *Speedloader* [Faster reloads for takedowns and trash] *Bone Breaker* [It's essential for max DPS. Long description, read for more details about takedown methods and my preferred commando loadout. If you don't already know, commando is one of the most versatile perks in the game. It has one of the best starter weapons, can extend zedtime up to 6x the normal length, has access to multiperk weapons with a lot of utility (Medic ar for healing, and m16 with grenade launcher), lots of ammo, powerful and quick grenades, and high stumble power. With this you can pretty much fulfill every need in the game if necessary, except for fleshpound takedowns...until now. Since the tactical reload skill, stumble round skill and perk damage bonuses (passive and from hollow point rounds) all apply to the grenade launcher, it's already very reliable for taking down quarter pounders on its own in 2-3 hits. It's a bit trickier with fleshpounds, however it is doable and I've found a semi reliable way that takes advantage of the stumble rounds skill and the powerful thrown grenades commando has. This can be done by throwing 3 grenades to do the bulk of damage, jumping to hit grenades above the blade arms, and taking advantage of the high stumble bonuses of commando to stop it's charge. In total it takes around 3 thrown grenades and 5 m16 grenades to take one down. A loadout that I usually roll out with in games is the Medic AR for healing and taking down scrakes (high stumble power and gun hit power let you keep distance and decap scrakes in only 27 rounds) and the m16 for general trash clearing and fleshpound takedowns. Although other perks are more suited for taking down big zeds, it is important to note that this loadout for commando gives him the ability to fill any roles the team is lacking without sacrificing any of his previous capabilities. When the medic or demo dies, its reassuring when you have a "medicdemolitioncommando" on your team.

The Commando is the eyes of your team, providing vital information to your teammates while cutting down hordes of small helpless Zeds. Commandos have the unique ability to make stalker Zeds visible to your teammates. Commandos also display health bars above injured Zeds, but that is only for your eyes to see. Both these abbilities have limited range, but it increases with each level the Commando gains. In addition to providing valuable information to your team, Commandos are masters of assault rifles, allowing them to demolish little zeds. The commando needs to play the passive role to be effective. Stay with your team at all costs. Not only because the commando depends on the team to survive but because you can share the abbility to see cloacked zeds. The commando is extreamly fragile and gets killed easily, usualy when he's reloading so Take your time and dont miss shoots. - Now Im going to tell you how I personaly use the weapons on a long hell on earth multiplayer game (keep in mind this is how I always play, irrelevent ofthe difficulty and lenght) I start with the ar15 And I stick with it until I have enough money to buy the M16 M203 Assault riffle. I play with it until I have enough for the HMTech-401 Assault riffle. I have both of them for the boss round aswell. And now you are probaly all like... Dude wtf? You are a commando not a medic/demolitonist what are you doing... And the answer is simple Multiperk weapons... As the tropical bash update gave us multiperk weapons the commando can use them both and they level up your perk + they are more effective then the acctualy commando weapons. With the HMTech-401 Assault riffle you cant only deal alot of damage but you can heal teammates aswell which is a big plus in my book. And the M16 M203 has a grenade launcher and it comes in handy every time. - so lets talk strategy: This is pretty much the only effective strategy I have for the commando so here we go: Dont get seperated from your team, this perk relys on the team to stay alive. And I do think that this perk is more of a support than the acctual support perk but that could be just me. Heal teammates with the medic gun.. Kill off as many small zeds so they dont corner your team. If youre playing hell on earth watch out how you trow grenades because they explode sooner than all the others. Probably the only reason to play commando is to extend zed time to enable all of your 25 level players to go to town on the zeds. - The zeds you have to prioritise shoud be mainly the little ones + the bloates... The commando cant handdle bigger zeds such as the flesh pound or scrake If in a multiplayer game ofcourse... If you play solo than it should be easy as long as you have some grenades to throw. To sum it up... The commando is pretty much a support perk that mainly focuses on little zeds and has to stay behinf the team at all costs but is good to have in any team... In my oppinion this perk is for me personaly not that exciting to play But who knows maybe it could be for you.

A lot of people told me... Go commando or swat and use the backup skill. I went for swat just because he has armor also. And I can confirm... these things are a tiny tiny bit OP. Not sure if they will stay this way because the damage doesn't make sense, but maybe it will, who knows. The only counter or balance factor to these 9mm is the ammo. I'm back with more content for the summer. In this video I play the original desolation made by Delta from the steam workshop since the official version of desolation edited by TWI is a deviation from the original in several ways. The official desolation adds unnecessary clutter restricting fluent player movement and flexibility throughout the map. The spawns are too hectic since zeds can pop around the corner giving you no time to react. The maps original theme and dark atmosphere has been altered drastically making it unrecognizable. All the changes I've discussed is only scratching the surface of the changes they've introduced. Down below is a link regarding these map changes. I urge you to please watch this from the map creators perspective to fully experience the map in it's entirety. Comparison Video: Desolation Workshop VS Official Comparison and Breakdown. 🤍 In this particular run, I used the mod Controlled Difficulty. The mod allows the user to customize and tweak the games spawn cycles by fixing the amount of zeds that can spawn, or adjusting how fast they spawn. I set the game's settings to default for this run, only adjusting the spawn intensity, how many can spawn, and increasing zed numbers. Without the mod settings, the zeds spawned too slow. resulting in boring gameplay. To fix this, I scaled up the zeds to mimic the tense atmosphere desolation delivers and I'm satisfied with the result. It was also a great opportunity to show off the Glock 18c trash killing capabilities. The Glock 18c is a powerful reliable sidearm with an absurd fire rate and high DPS. The Glock 18c is, if not the best, primary trash clearer. The only downside to the Glock 18c is it's large zed killing capabilities. While it fairs well against them, it is still outclassed by the other tier 4s in terms of consistency, accuracy and efficiency. In my option, the weapons are balanced since the recoil is tough to manage, and it's range and bullet spread are subpar compared to other weapons. Overall, they are an enjoyable edition to Gunslinger. More uploads to come later this season, I'd like to return to this map and take advantage of the dark hopefully in a future upload down the line.
