Whatever you need a website for, create yours today with Wix: 🤍 What are some of the most disturbing wikipedia pages? As you probably know, a wiki is a website which consists of collaborations of people modifying content. The most popular of these sites is none other than Wikipedia. It was launched on January 15, 2001, by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. The former once said, “Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's what we're doing.” And they did a good job. You can find 301 languages on Wikipedia, but the English language version is easily the biggest. Right now, in English you can find 5.7 million articles, and 46 million pages, which have been edited 860 million times and looked at by 1,203 admins. It’s not surprising then, that there’s some weird stuff you can find on Wikipedia. And that’s what we’ll look at today, in this episode of the Infographics Show, the Scariest Wikipedia articles. These are The Creepiest Wikipedia Pages that will haunt Your Nightmares, let’s talk about em! What’s going down Mouse Nation? And welcome back to The Creepiest, with me, you host Morty Mouse. And These are The Creepiest Wikipedia Pages That Will Haunt Your Nightmares, so sit back, turn out your lights, and let’s get started. Creepy Wikipedia! Cotard Delusion Cotard Delusion, chances are you’ve never heard of it, right? It has another name….walking corpse syndrome. Cotard Delusion is a rare mental disorder that causes the affected person to actually believe they are already dead.Scary Wikipedia and The Creepiest Wikipedia Pages That Will Haunt Your Nightmares Cotard Delusion exists in three stages. I don’t know about you, but I don’t wish Cotard Delusion on anyone out there. The Wikipedia page goes on to explain more about this rare mental disorder, but I don’t recommend it. Dyatlov Pass Incident Dyatlov Pass incident is not only strange, but heartbreaking as well. It resulted in the death of nine hikers in February 1959 in the northern Ural Mountains of the former Soviet Union. There were no survivors and to this day no one knows for sure how the Dyatlov Pass Incident happened. That’s not the most mysterious part of the Dyatlov Pass Incident though. This experienced trekking group was formed to take a skiing expedition through the Ural Mountains and was to be led by Igor Dyatlov, hence the name the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Many theories were given to account for the unexplained deaths in the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Katherine Knight Katherine Knight was he first Australian woman to be sentenced to life in prison without parole, and for good reason. Katherine Knight murdered her partner, John Price. According to wikipedia, Katherine Knight then skinned him. Katherine Knight would then cook his body parts. It’s even thought that Katherine Knight tried a bit of his meat herself. EDWARD MORDRAKE Now this wikipedia page talks about one of the creepiest stories I have ever heard, that of Edward Mordrake. Edward Mordrake was an heir to a noble family in England. EDWARD MORDRAKE lived in total seclusion, refusing visits from even his closest family members. Edward Mordrake was said to be an intelligent and fit man with a very handsome face. She would sneer as Edward Mordrake showed joy and she’d smile as he wept. Her voice could ever be heard. At least not to anyone except Edward Mordrake. Poor Edward Mordrake would be kept up every night to the sound of malicious whispers. But Edward Mordrake did poison himself at the age of 23 to free himself of his twin. The Salish Sea Human Foot discoveries. Oddly enough no other body parts have been found in the Salish Sea Human Foot discoveries. Aokigahara Suicide Forest Aokigahara ,The Sea of Trees northwest of Mount Fuji in Japan is a popular tourist attraction. It’s of course also known as The Suicide Forest due to the amount of suicides that have taken place in the serene environment. Aokigahara Suicide Forest is also said to be the home of the Yurei, ghosts of the dead in Japanese lore who are known to torture and beckon those who enter the forests to join them in death. Many of these ghosts are those who took their own lives within the Aokigahara Suicide Forest, but others were those lost or left to die by family members. Enter the Aokigahara Suicide Forest, if you dare. Chase Vault In this creepy wikipedia article, we head to Barbados and the Christ Church Parish Cemetery. Here is the home of the Chase Vault. The Chase Vault is the heavily speculated to be extremely haunted and the Chase family that it holds are said to be cursed. The Chase Vault is also the home of the mysterious moving coffins. As for the Chase family themselves, they were plagued with deaths before their time. Now the Chase vault sits empty. Charlie No Face You’ve probably heard the Urban legend of Charlie No Face. or in other stories, The Green Man. The story is intertwined with the real life of a very real Raymond Robinson, Charlie No Face, The Green Man. When Raymond Robinson was 9, he tried to get to a bird’s nest by climbing an electrical pole. There’s Charlie No Face be electrocuted severely by the power lines. The Green Man would fall to the ground, but miraculously survived. Unfortunately The Green Man would also be be very deformed. In the legends it’s said that as Charlie no Face aged, he took shelter and hid in an abandoned home, coming out at nights to scare those looking to find the Green man. The truth is a lot different, Raymond Robinson was actually beloved by locals. This is The Creepiest here on Morty Mouse Which wikipedia page did you find the creepiest? This was The Creepiest Wikipedia Pages that will Haunt Your Nightmares!

You won't believe the top wikipedia topics, some are scary, some are mysterious, some are strange, but they are all CREEPY ! Subscribe to American Eye 🤍 5. The Flatwoods Monster A seeming close encounter with some type of extraterrestrial being took place in West Virginia in 1952 by two young men and wikipedia gives a good a description of what allegedly happened, which turns out to be pretty creepy. Imagine encountering some type of horrific monster that crashed from a UFO, then being sick for with a mysterious illness not long after. If the whole thing was just a hoax, it would seem a little bit strange that they both got sick. Some believe it could have been some type of virus from out of space while others believe it was from some type of fuel used to power the spacecraft that crashed. The whole event was well documented by newspapers. The boys both describe the monster as being about 7-10 feet tall with shrilling red eyes and long skinny arms and fingers. Almost seems too real strange to not be real. 4. Inventors and Their Inventions There’s another list on Wikipedia which provides you with names of inventors who were killed by their inventions. Inventing is a tough job and someone’s gotta do it! Turns out that inventing ain’t all that easy. In ironic turns of events people make the wrong decisions with the devices they’ve created. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn’t. Lets ask this austrian guy how it went for him! Franz Reichelt was an inventor who was into trying to design parachutes and wing suits. One day, he decided to test out one of his inventions by jumping off the eiffel tower and since he’s on this list, you can take a pretty good guess that it didn’t go too well for him. Even as recently as the guy who invented the segway had an ironic twist of fate when he segwayed off a cliff. 3. Rat King If you really don’t like rats, you probably don’t want to go on this wikipedia page. Scientists have warned the UK that will notice an increase in giant rat infestations in the upcoming years! Imagine walking to kitchen and seeing a cat sized rat on your counter top, scurrying through the bag of fritos you shouldn’t have left open! Not only are they freaking huge, some are becoming rat poison resistant, meaning they’ve evolved to the point where they’re nearly indestructible. But that’s not the type Rat Kings were talking about. The real rat kings are a big ball of rodent who are entangled at the tail. This isn’t the normal stuff you’d probably find in most encyclopedias. They’ve even thought to be cryptids but in places where there are large population of rats, this is very much a reality. The rat king basically either has to live the rest of it’s life as a rat king, or gnaw off its tail, which would you choose, let us know in the comment section. 2. Near Nuclear Devastation North Carolina It’s pretty creepy to realize how close the US was to having a massive nuclear detonation in a fairly populous area. A serious plane crash took place in 1961 with a B-52 stratofortress bomber carrying 2 thermonuclear weapons. When the plane malfunctioned, the pilots ejected from the cockpit but this also resulted in them dropping their nuclear payout in eastern North Carolina, 1961. Two nuclear bombs struck the ground but miraculously didn’t detonate. This disaster would have been powerful to completely wipe off the city of Greensboro and nearby towns if luck wasn’t slightly on our side. One bomb with 250 times the power of the one dropped on Hiroshima plunged into a muddy field travelling 700 miles an hour and recovered 20 feet below the ground. Lieutenant Jack Revelle, a person responsible for disarming the bomb stated there would have been a 100 percent kill zone within an 8.5 mile radius. Parker f Jones stated that one simple, dynamo technology such as a low voltage switch prevented the major catastrophe. 1. Spontaneous Human Combustion Another intersting page wikipedia hosts is about spontaneous human combustion. Imagine just sitting on your couch one day watching an american eye video, then out of nowhere, you’re completely engulfed in flames! It’s been quite the mystery but wikipedia does a decent job of putting together some information on it. People started documenting records and hypotheses in 1746. Some ideas suggest that some type of fire is ignited by bodily gas somehow possibly after too much taco bell. But seriously, there have been quite a few reports of this happening which caused great damage and were too serious to just be caused by a candle or cigarette. Some claim that the fat under our skin can act as a candle in some cases, keeping the flame alive. Whatever the case maybe it’s a pretty freaky wiki page!

We'll be the first to admit that we've spent hours reading about various things on this free encyclopedia. And things sometimes get creepy. For example, there's a page dedicated to John F. Kennedy's autopsy that shares photos of what he looked like while on the autopsy table. There's also a page dedicated to the strange lives of the Silent Twins, June and Jennifer Gibbons. These identical twins spent decades communicating only with each other in a "secret language." But you'll have to watch the video to see what it took for them to finally communicate with others. Subscribe to American Eye 🤍 Creepy Wikipedia Pages You Should NOT Visit Everyone loves hearing scary stories, but there are some you shouldn’t look up if you want to sleep at night. 12 - Carl Tanzler Carl Tanzler was a radiology technician in the 1930s when he fell in love with one of his patients: the beautiful Elena Milagro de Hoyos. Unfortunately for Tanzler, his love was doomed. Hoyos had contracted tuberculosis and didn’t live to see the other side of her illness. That didn’t stop Tanzler’s feelings, however. They only grew as he continued to obsess over her. In 1933, 2 years after she had been buried, Tanzler stole Hoyos from her tomb and kept her in his house for 7 years. Among many other unsavory deeds you can probably guess at, Tanzler took every effort to preserve Hoyos’s beauty, including using wax, plaster, and glass eyes. After his crime was discovered and Hoyos’s body was returned to the cemetery, Tanzler remained just ss obsessed with her as he’d ever been. He spent the rest of his life worshipping a life-sized effigy of her he’d recreated. If you’re new here, be sure to subscribe and hit the bell icon to be notified of our upcoming videos. And if you end up enjoying this one, hit the like button before you go. 11 - Slender Man One submission to an online forum for photoshopping supernatural photos in 2009 took the internet by storm: Slender Man. The tall, besuited figure with spidery tentacles had a terrifying and unstoppable penchant of taking children like a monstrous Pied Piper. Slender Man quickly became an internet urban legend as more and more people added to his mythos. His influence took a turn for the worse as he became a real-life horror story. In 2014, 2 twelve-year-old girls tried sacrificing their friend in Slender Man’s honor, believing that they would become proxies to the eldritch monster if they succeeded. If they failed, they and their families would be forfeit to him. It was only luck that their victim survived. 10 - Salish Sea Human Foot Discoveries Shoes have been known to wash ashore now and then, but strange things are afoot along the Salish Sea in British Columbia and Washington. They’re not always empty. 21 sneakers with unattached human feet inside have appeared since 2007, with many identified as belonging to missing people. Many of these feet’s owners are thought to have been victims of accidents, natural disasters, or depression. In some cases, with nothing else of them found, there are only theories as to what could have happened. 9 - Spontaneous Human Combustion Fire needs 3 things to survive: fuel, oxygen, and heat, which usually means a lot of wood or gasoline is involved. However, in certain cases, humans have been found to suddenly catch fire from the inside out, where none of these fire elements are available. While some cases could have been caused by external fire sources, such as embers or ash catching on clothing, many can’t be explained away so simply. These victims of spontaneous combustion go to sleep one night only to wake up unable to move as they burn if they wake up at all. Strangely, in many cases, their legs are the only survivors. In these cases, the rooms around them are often untouched by the flames as well, with perhaps only the chair they’re sitting in catching.

10 CREEPIEST Wikipedia Pages! Wikipedia (Information Source), scary, creepy, top 10, scariest, creepiest, weird, horror, Scared, Scream, Joyce Vincent, Flatwoods Monster, Wendigo, June and Jennifer Gibbons, Post-Mortem Photography, Mothman, List of People Who Disappeared Mysteriously, Black Eyed Children, Coffin Birth, Shadow Person, Ghost, demon, paranormal 10 CREEPIEST Wikipedia Pages! Wikipedia is an endless source of information. Literally, who needs to go to college anymore when all they need to do is get on a computer and search for their topic on Wikipedia? But just as the page can be informative, it can also be extraordinarily creepy to the point where we can all scare ourselves silly. Whether we are looking up legends or truly scary case studies of people who really existed, Wikipedia can be the place where nightmares are made of. For example, you can research the truly creepy case of black eyed children, who want to invade your space with their creepy all-black eyes and monotone voices. The stories are creepy enough to the point where you will pull the curtains on all of your windows, lock your doors, and ignore any doorbell rings and knocks. The very fact that black eyed children go against the image of innocent children, which are usually harmless. But Wikipedia pages can also bring on a dose of grim reality, such as the case of Joyce Vincent, who was found dead in her apartment three years after she passed on. It is a product of our worst nightmares; being forgotten. Vincent had cut off contact from many of her friends and loved ones, so when no one heard from her, no one thought twice. Vincent had also prepaid for many of her household services and living off of government benefits for her electricity. When she was found dead, the television was still on. But Vincent’s body was basically nothing but a skeleton and next to a bag of wrapped Christmas presents that never got delivered. Wikipedia pages can inform us of some of the most fascinating cases of unknown creatures, such as the Flatwoods Monster, the Wendigo, and the Mothman. With startling accounts and pictures to go along with these articles, it certainly makes you wonder if these articles might have an element of truth attached to them. Maybe the intention of these articles isn’t to deter you from going outside, but perhaps staying inside to avoid interacting with these terrifying creatures might very well be worth it. Then Wikipedia also reminds us how creepy we can be by ourselves by preserving historical evidence of post-mortem photography, where we took creative pictures of the dead in order to preserve memories of that loved one. While the gesture is nice, for those of us today looking back, the practice itself is pretty creepy, especially today where the handling of dead bodies is reserved for the professional caretakers and medical staff. There is one thing about Wikipedia that needs to be taken into consideration is the fact that anyone can edit a Wikipedia article. Sometimes you have to take the information with a grain of salt, but checking out the sources of these articles is a great place if you want to continue to dig into the creepy subject. There are many more creepy pages out there on the vast online encyclopedia, and this video sheds some light on the ones meant to give you nightmares. 10 CREEPIEST Wikipedia Pages!

Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia, created and edited by volunteers around the world and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation. I'm not going to post it here, but I'm sure if you Google it you could find a copy of the letter he wrote to the parents of his last victim, 10 year old Grace Budd. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who still insist that nothing is either "good" or "evil," or that evil doesn't even exist. ☛ Visit our website : 🤍 ☛ For More Videos Subscribe Our Channel : 🤍 ☛ Background Music : 🤍 Source : 🤍
