Every sound effect of mine in this tutorial/video : 🤍 Sound design in our filmmaking process is extremely important, it's not something I've always paid a lot of attention to but the more I've progressed as a creator/filmmaker in this industry I've learnt the power of sound effects and how it can have such a strong impact on our visuals and the emotion of the audience. In this tutorial of a basic travel style montage/film I touch on a few tips and topics on how to manipulate sound effects and where to use various elements such as risers, drones, ambience, underscores and transition type sound design to bring your visuals to life. Then it will show up as an image in the browser. No need to rescale or resize, Kontakt will do that automatically by cropping the size it needs from the center. The resolution also doesn't matter much, because Kontakt also downscales the image, no matter the actual size in the folder. One of the points I'd like to illustrate in this video is that if used well, stock Logic can also sound pretty good - I like how it turned out, even compared to the more expensive libraries! Of course, you get much more flexibility with subsequent each tier of pricing, but no matter how good the sounds or how many articulations you get, nothing can substitute for learning how to layer sounds and use different textures and colours to create something that evokes feeling. All these require training and learning to develop the ear and knowledge and palette so that you can be a better arranger/producer/composer.
