In a way there is a way to get out of Sleep Paralysis. Ever see the movie A Nightmare On Elm Street? When having a Nightmare just tell yourself its ONLY a Nightmare it's not real and you'll go back to dreaming or you'll eventually learn to wake yourself up.

I have I haven't had a Nightmare in about 4 or so years. I had Sleep Paralysis once I got stuck in it after having a cluster of Seizures since I have Epilepsy yet I was about to have a Nightmare of a horror film that disturbs the shit out of me and woke myself up and I was in the hospital with my Neurologists among others telling me.

Whether you think that sounds queer or not it actually works due to that one line in A Nightmare On Elm Street. "You're Not Real Kruger This Is Only A Dream!"
