Sub-ohm vaping tips for newbies. Sub-ohm produces a lot of vapor, gives a stronger nicotine hit, and enhances e-juice flavors. But it's more about the atomizer build than the resistance. The key is wire surface area/length, resistance, and airflow. Battery Resistance Limits (made by 'bigmandown'): 🤍 Checkout these posts about batteries: Batteries 1 🤍 Batteries 2 🤍 Quick explanation of why dual coil requires 4x wires: This is only when coils are in parallel and each coil has to have the same resistance. The current has two wires to flow through so the resistance (against the current) is reduced by half. Each coil is 1.6 ohms so the total resistance is 1.6/2 = .8 ohms. It's hard without visuals so I'll do a video on it. Other stuff to remember: For sub-ohm using Kanthal, it's best to use a 28 gauge or thicker wire unless you "twist" the thinner wire to make it thicker. Thinner wires are generally for higher ohm builds. Thicker wires will also take longer to heat up compared to a thinner wire of the same resistance, but will retain the heat longer. Low resistance allows the coils to heat up faster/hotter (more power). Wire surface area determines how much e-juice can vaporize at one time.

The term “Sub Ohm Vaping” can be a bit confusing, especially if you are new to the vape scene. In this video, we go over what exactly is sub ohm vaping, and why a vaper would want to venture into this realm. Now, this style of vaping is not for everyone as it does provide a much different vaping experience in comparison to "Above Ohm Vaping". In Sub Ohm Vaping for Beginners, we go over the many different aspects of this vaping style, and why a beginner might be interested in it. Many advanced vapers have made the switch and never looked back. However, there are still some vapers who prefer above ohm vaping. Regardless, there’s no right or wrong when it comes to vaping, as long as you’re not smoking. In short, in Sub Ohm Vaping the resistance of your coil is under 1 ohm, and in Above Ohm Vaping the resistance of your coil is above 1 ohm. There are plenty of reasons why a vaper might try to venture into sub ohm vaping, such as more vapor production or better flavor. Sub Ohm Vaping may not be for everyone as it provides a different vape experience. Der Begriff #SubOhm setzt sich zusammen aus dem lateinischen Wort Sub, was so viel bedeutet wie unter sowie Ohm welcher die Definition des elektrischen Widerstandes ist. Ganz einfach gesagt hat ein Sub-Ohm #Verdampfer einen# Verdampferkopf / Coil mit einem Widerstand unter 1,0 Ohm. Der Vorteil von Sub-Ohm ist, dass die Dampfentwicklung höher und der Geschmack intensiver ist.
