This is the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, the last Lamborghini to be powered solely by a V10 engine! Mat’s got his hands on this RWD supercar and he’s about to find out if the swan song for the Huracan is the best yet. In terms of the design, it’s still clearly a Huracan, but there are a few changes to help you distinguish it compared to the standard Huracan Evo. Up front, there’s a redesigned front bumper coupled with a carbon fibre bonnet. Along the sides, you’ll find some unique alloy wheels. Around the back, there’s a fixed spoiler, a redesigned bumper and a pair of hexagonal tailpipes. All-in-all, this is pretty much the best-looking Huracan to date! Take a step inside and the changes aren’t so clear. Sure it looks pretty different in this video, but our Huracan Tecnica has been fitted with a number of optional extras, such as the bucket seats, door inlays, air vents and Alcantara steering wheel - sadly, none of these come as standard! The only changes the Tecnica gets over the standard car are a revised digital dial display, a new infotainment system and changes to the seats. At least there are changes to the engine compared to the standard Evo! The Tecnica comes with a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can produce 640hp and 565Nm of torque - just like the Huracan STO. In terms of price, the Huracan Tecinica will set you back £212,000. That’s £15,000 more than the Evo, but £46,000 less than the STO! But is it the best Huracan to date? Sit back and join Mat to find out for yourself! Questa è la Huracan Tecnica, l’anello di congiunzione tra la Huracan standard e la supersportiva STO. Ha 640 CV, la trazione posteriore e ancora un motore aspirato non elettrificato, va velocissimo e a modo suo sa anche essere confortevole. Allacciate le cinture e partiamo: è lei la protagonista di questo Perché Comprarla. La Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica ha un prezzo di listino che parte da circa 235 mila euro, optional e personalizzazioni escluse. Purtroppo però non è più possibile ordinarla perché l’intera produzione è già stata prenotata in attesa dell'erede il cui arrivo è previsto nel corso del 2024. Le concorrenti della Lamborghini Huracan sono più di quante si pensi anche se la maggior parte ha motori turbo. Prendendo come riferimento proprio il V10, la più accreditata è la cugina Audi R8 che ha prestazioni simili e un’ottima dotazione ma meno possibilità di personalizzazione. La rivale diretta però non può che essere la Ferrari F8 Tributo con il suo V8 biturbo, seguita a ruota da un’altra italiana e cioè dalla Maserati MC20. Se cercate una supercar meno vecchia scuola e che magari sia anche ibrida, allora si può guardare alla Ferrari 296 GTB o alla McLaren Artura. My friend has bought the FIRST new Lamborghini Huracan STO 60th Anniversary in the country, and it's collection day! One of only 60 of this limited edition that Lamborghini are making in total, there are some incredible details to check out. Let's head over and get the covers pulled back! We're heading to HR Owen Lamborghini Hatfield; the new sister showroom to Lamborghini Pangbourne where I bought my 'regular' Huracan STO almost exactly 2 years ago now. Naturally, my car is coming out for the purpose and it's always utterly hilarious to drive through the tunnels and let that V10 scream! However, today is about the 60th Anniversary, a huge celebration year for Lamborghini having been founded back in 1963. Lamborghini is yet another manufaturer that has updated its GT3-class weapon ahead of the 2023 season and of course for the upcoming LMGT3-class of the FIA WEC from 2024. The Huracán GT3 has reached its third generation with an interesting upgrade package (called 'EVO2'), always developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The main aesthetic characteristics that distinguish the EVO2 from the previous GT3 EVO are for sure the new airscoop and rear fin, taken from the Huracán Super Trofeo race cars. The scoop was introduced to contribute to greater efficiency of the intake system and it's connected to a snorkel which optimally channels the airflow directly into the engine. This also allowed to remove the two side air vents on the upper part of the GT3 EVO body and reshape it for better air flow to the rear wing. Other visible changes have been made to the rear diffuser, there's a new front splitter and new front and rear bumpers with design elements that refer to the Huracán STO model. The engine is still the reliable 5.2-litre V10 unit which has been further improved with the introduction of 10 electronically actuated throttle bodies that boost the efficiency of the titanium-valved V10. I also noticed that some work has been done on engine mapping since the EVO2 has more explosive upshifts plus a crackling overrun with more aggressive downshifts compared to the previous EVO generation (you can also spots some little flames from the exhaust on downshifts). So happy that the GT3 EVO's distinctive whistle generated by some body parts at higher speed has remained on the EVO2. We’ve got our hands on the almighty Rimac Nevera electric hypercar, and it’s going up an absolutely wild Lamborghini Huracan! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Rimac, it rolls up with four electric motors that combine to put down 1,914hp and 2,360Nm of torque. It’s equipped with a huge 120kWh battery, but as a result, it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,300kg. It also comes with a proper hefty price tag, costing around £2,000,000! Next up we have the Lambo, and it’s had a whole load of work done to it, including a fully built engine and gearbox!
